We were planning to go clubbing for New Year's Eve in San Francisco this time but I ruptured my Achilles Tendon (at least that was the initial diagnosis) just a few days before that and even had to spend about 4 hours on Dec. 31 at the Emergency Room. Due to this, we ended up partying at Vanessa and Jose's place in SF with Steve, Nada, Deepak and Sarayu. We had tons of booze and fun and my pain was a distant memory by the time I crashed out for the night. A few days later, my podiatrist said one of the nerves leading to my foot was getting squished somehow and that's what caused this problem. |
