My cousin Kailas got married to Katie Fillion on June 28 at the summit of a ski mountain called Wildcat in the majestic White Mountain Range of New Hampshire (location of the infamous Mt. Washington). Eug and I reached North Conway, the town where most of the wedding guests were staying around 3pm on June 27 and checked into our cutesy B & B called Spruce Moose Lodge. They were quite reasonable and had a nice 2 person jacuzzi in our room in a cottage called Bette's Getaway (named after Bette Davis). They also had a fireplace in there but it was way too hot for that this time of the year. That night, there was a dinner party at the fabulous White Mountain Hotel. This is a Golfer's hotel and there was even a golf store inside. The views from the place was spectacular. Must be even more pretty in winter. You won't see any photographs of that party since I forgot to take my camera. |
